How to Apply
We accept 30-32 campers for each session of the camp. Since space is limited, not all students who apply are admitted. Your application must be postmarked by Monday, March 17, 2008. Late applications care not considered.
To apply for Camp Badger Exploring Engineering, the following materials must be sent in by March 17, 2008:
- Completed Application Form with attachments signed by the student, parent(s) or guardian(s).
- One-page essay written by the student (double-spaced, typed and signed) describing:
- The coolest or most fun thing you have done or learned in science. Tell us about it and discuss why you think this experience was special.
- What you like and dislike about math and science.
- Copy of student's middle school transcript or report card from last year.
- A letter of recommendation from student's math or science teacher or the school guidance counselor based on criteria noted in the application form.
All the information you send will remain confidential. If you are accepted to the program, you will be notified the week of May 5, 2008. Once accepted, you must confirm your participation by May 19, 2008.
